Want to make a difference for immigrants and refugees across Washington? Join in the Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Day on Feb. 5 in Olympia.  No registration is needed to join the rally at noon.

If you would like to participate in the all-day event, please register to be trained on how to speak to lawmakers, meet other immigrant rights activists, and attend meetings with your legislators. “Advocacy activities like the rally for Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Day align with our vision to be allies for each other,” said Mary Ferris, the CIELO board chair. “It is exciting to see our staff, board and supporting community living this vision of both allyship and promoting community, which is really the spirit of CIELO.”

Once registered, the Washington Immigrant Solidarity Network will schedule a meeting with a senator or representative from your legislative district; no need to do that on your own. Volunteers will be on site to help direct attendees to offices of their representatives and senators. Please note that all meals will be available. Childcare is also available, and interpretation will be provided. In addition, if you have any additional accessibility needs, please indicate them in the registration form.
